A. Customer 1st (UK) Education Facility can help you complete in as little as 5 days plus one day for the exam, although our courses will usually be for 9 days to allow for full absorption of the material. You are totally in control to decide how long is right for you. We will help you with this decision. We understand that different people learn at different rates and learn using different methods. We have a range of courses, stemming from FAST TRACK to one year. In addition we also have self study programmes.
Q. What are the pass rates for the Transport Manager CPC Exam?
A. Some training schools advertise (up to) first time 80% pass rates, where as statistics from the examination awarding organisations suggest closer to a 50% pass rate.
Q. Who is best Learning Provider to take my Transport Manager CPC exam with?
A. Customer 1st (UK) Ltd Education are considered one of the best companies for your training. Well we could be biased with this answer! There are many learning partners around including lots of individual entities. There are many good ones! In fact we have worked alongside or with many of them over the years. Here at Customer 1st, we truly believe that we put your interests at the forefront of priority. We will conduct a learner registration with you to ensure that you are on the correct timeline. There is no point attempting to grasp all of the knowledge required for the exam in 5 days, if realistically it will take a couple of weeks. Many things can influence that decision, such as previous academic studies, previous knowledge of the Logistics sector and so forth. Drivers hours alone can take a couple of days to understand fully.
These are the available awarding organisations. All of the organisations have their own benefits.
Awarding Organisations can be:
Training providers MUST be an accredited learning partner for an Awarding Organisation to be able to book the exam for students.
CILT as example, will not usually accept direct bookings for the exam from students.
Q. Is classroom or remote learning better for the Transport Manager CPC Exam?
A. Research shows that the success of passing is not that dissimilar across remote, classroom, or a combination of blended learning. Self Study only suggests much lower pass rates.
Your training provider should discuss this with a process which is part of something called ‘Learner Registration.’ Ultimately, different students learn at different paces so your provider should establish your best route. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Q. How do I know who to choose to do my Transport Manager CPC exam with?
A. Different training providers provide different courses, although they all cover off the same structure. Many stick to a format that is trialled and tested but not all courses are a one size fits all.
Many offer different lengths of courses, but ultimately a good provider should be able to establish the best route and timeframe for you. If you value your time and quality of training, you will want to ensure you have the very best chance of passing and at Customer 1st, we only use officially endorsed Department for Transport Material produced by EOS and as recommended by CILT.
Q. Why are there so many different prices for the Transport Manager CPC Exam?
A. The cost of the exams is predominantly the same. Usually around £180. The cost of the training varies from training provider to provider ranging from £995 to £2000. Different training companies offer different propositions. The more expensive course does not mean you will receive better training in some cases, nor guarantee a higher likelihood of passing. This is where we are unique in our proposition as we will develop a learning plan for you. Class room courses are usually more expensive, BUT DO NOT ALWAYS provide higher pass rates.
ALL TRAINING PROVIDERS cover off the same subjects. Some deliver the components of the courses better than others.
Q. How do I know if the training material for the Transport Manager CPC Exam is officially endorsed?
A. CILT as one example recommends for accredited learning partners to use EOS training material. EOS material covers off most of the components of the examination. Customer 1st only use officially endorsed materials.
Please do your research. There are many training partners who have developed their own material. And methods of delivery.
We prefer to stick with the format as outlined by CILT.
Q. Is it the same Transport Manager CPC exam with all the different exam bodies?
A. The fundamentals of the exam are the same. You will learn the same subject matter in general with who ever you decide to train with. Different Awarding Organisations have slightly different scoring structures. But the content is more or less the same.
